Exciting job opportunity for Sr. Manager - Sales (Industrial Bakery). Job location will be Udyog Vihar, Phase V, Gurugram. Job Summary: The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth within the bakery ingredients sector for PAN India. This role requires a seasoned sales professional with extensive experience in industrial sales, particularly within the bakery industry. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing and executing sales strategies that align with company objectives, building strong relationships with industrial clients, and achieving sales targets. Key Responsibilities: 1. Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and achieve revenue targets within the industrial segment. 2. Key Account Management: Manage and grow relationships with key industrial clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships. Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the industrial segment, including small, medium and large scale bakers. 3. Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive activity, using insights to inform sales strategies and identify growth opportunities. 4. Sales Forecasting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports, tracking performance against targets and adjusting strategies as needed. 5. Negotiation & Contract Management: Lead contract negotiations with clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions that meet company objectives. 6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product development, and RnD teams to ensure a cohesive approach to market entry and customer support. 7. Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a team of sales professionals, fostering a high-performance culture and providing ongoing training and development. 8. Budget Management: Manage the sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources 9. Reporting & Analysis: Monitor and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management for continuous improvement. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field or MBA is preferred. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a senior or managerial role. Experience in the food industry, specifically in bakery ingredients, is highly desirable. Skills: Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in a B2B environment. Strong understanding of the industrial sales process and experience managing large-scale accounts. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong leadership and team management skills. Ability to work independently, team handling and as part of a cross-functional team.
