𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐧 25 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 – 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏100 𝐒𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐏𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐞 When I first joined the company 25 years ago, we were working with a product that revolutionized how people applied for jobs—the P100 screen phone. The P100 was a game-changer in its time. It was installed in retail and grocery locations, hotels, casinos, and even hospitals, allowing applicants to fill out job surveys right there in the store or office. Once the job survey was complete, the P100 would connect and download the information, and we would in turn, fax a completed job application and an interview guide to the hiring manager at the respective location. (Yes, I said fax!) Imagine—before online applications; this was how businesses connected with potential employees. Thinking back to those early days really makes me appreciate how much we’ve evolved. It also shows how we’ve always been committed to making the hiring process more accessible and efficient. Check out the throwback photo of the P100 screen phone and fax machines our customers used. Next week, I’ll dive into how we transitioned from these screen phones to the advanced tech solutions we use today at Cadient.
