We had an incredible three days at Design Democracy, where we had the opportunity to showcase our ceramic designs and unveil our very first filigree work! Our journey was a celebration of creativity, collaboration, and craftsmanship. The event brought together a vibrant community of artists and designers, allowing us to connect with like-minded individuals who share our passion for art and design. Throughout the three days, we engaged in meaningful conversations about our creative processes, the inspirations behind our work, and the importance of blending traditional craftsmanship with contemporary artistry. Odisha Craft Odyssey is a collaborative effort between MGM Foundation and BEADS. This edition of OCO highlights the bell metal artisans of Balakati.  This video is our attempt to capture the journey of this residency and the bell metal tradition at Balakati. This distinctive exhibition was inaugurated on September 5, 2024, at Lalit Kala Akademi, Bhubaneswar, by Smt. Pravati Parida, the Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minister of Odisha.
