🌟In celebration of Autoneum’s vibrant local communities, our teams worldwide regularly host events to bring together not only employees, but also their families and friends! 🌟 In September, several of our plants opened their doors to external visitors as part of family days. While all events included guided tours of the sites, the activities hosted by the individual locations were as diverse and unique as our local teams. At the Hnátnice plant in Czechia, over 230 attendees – many of them kids – had a blast taking on the “foam challenge”, one of many fun attractions organized by the team! 🎉✨ From bouncy castles to a spectacular rescue demo by local firefighters, smiles and laughter filled the day! Meanwhile, at our plants in Lachapelle-aux-Pots and Ons-en-Bray, France, nearly 300 guests got to experience our colleagues’ passion and commitment to Autoneum first-hand. The day concluded with a delightful lunch, fostering deeper connections among members of staff and their visitors. Our three plants in Brazil also celebrated with their families. In São Paulo, our 80 volunteers organized a Star Wars themed event, which was linked to our new values and included games, music, food and small gifts for the children. Our staff in Gravataí organized a fun afternoon with food stalls, a live concert, toys for the kids as well as raffle prizes. The Open House Event at our location in Taubaté also offered special activities such as kids’ recreation, water toys, a magic show, massage, music acts including Autoneum’s cinema session. 🎉 Celebrating 20 years of success in Tianjin! 🎉 At the beginning of this month, we commemorated the 20th anniversary of our joint venture in Tianjin, China. This significant milestone brought together representatives from Autoneum and our Tianjin Autoneum Nittoku Automotive Sound-Proof Co., Ltd joint venture partners Nittoku, Chugai, and Hirotani, along with local government delegates for a celebratory ceremony. The joint venture was originally founded in 2004 by our three partners, with Autoneum joining in 2006. Over the past two decades, the Tianjin plant has successfully supplied a great variety of components for the interior and exterior of vehicles including inner and outer dashes, hoodliners, wheelhouse inner and outer liners, side trim and other felt parts for different vehicle manufacturers in China. The team’s hard work and dedication is reflected in the various customer awards it has received over the past twenty years. To name but one example, the plant has been recognized by FAW Toyota Motor Company (FTMC) for three consecutive years, most recently with the 2023 Strategic Supplier of Competitive and Outstanding Performance Award for its “technology innovation and good team performance.” A special thank you and congratulations to our colleagues. We are excited for the opportunities ahead such as the opening of our new plant in Changchun, which is one of Asia’s largest car production centers. 🌟 Celebrating our staff and autumn vibes🍂🍁 Last month, our team in Tillsonburg, Canada, invited all three shifts to the plant‘s annual employee appreciation luncheon. The more than 150 participants enjoyed delicious food and celebrated 40 (!) years of service of not just one, but five loyal staff members. Fast and effective first aid can save lives! 🚑💪 That’s why the more than 30 volunteer members of our local First Aid team in Nowogard, Poland, regularly take part in emergency exercises to enhance their practical skills. As a welcome change of (training) pace, a team of six employees from the plant was recently invited to participate in the third annual regional First Aid tournament! 🌟 Over two intense days, our employees – together with representatives from other companies – learned from professional paramedics, the fire brigade, and the police department how to handle challenging scenarios in a calm and competent manner. The knowledge gained will not only enhance individual confidence but also boost our plant's emergency readiness. Level Up! At today’s Capital Markets Day in Czechia, Autoneum’s CEO Eelco Spoelder introduced our new corporate strategy, providing insights into the various comprehensive initiatives for the Company’s future growth, CFO Bernhard Wiehl presented our revised medium-term targets. Among others, Autoneum is targeting revenue of CHF 3 billion and an EBIT margin of 6% to 8% over the cycle. The presentations on current activities and developments in the areas of sustainability and innovation by our experts Pascaline BREGEON, Head Strategy and Sustainability, and Philippe Godano, Head Core Technologies, were complemented by a tour of our Czech plants in Bor and Volduchy and an introduction to Autoneum’s sustainable production processes. Great turnout at Innovation Days in Japan! Last month, Autoneum hosted various dynamic sessions at the premises of some of the major Japanese vehicle manufacturers. Over the course of a week, our experts – alongside representatives from our US joint venture UGN and Japanese partner Nittoku – were able to present our latest innovations in acoustic and thermal management to selected customers and partners. The product exhibition showcased our fully recyclable trunk side trim and Propylat-based wheelhouse outer liners, among other things. Overall, the focus on sustainability and electric vehicles resonated strongly with the audience. With around 600 attendees, the event was a remarkable opportunity to strengthen partnerships and explore new avenues for collaboration.
