Royi Bercovici, Director of Gap, Jewish Studies, and Teen Journey shares his experiences from the past months, from his time as a reservist in the army and to his view on the challenges and the hope of a strong Jewish identity and community. "Today, as Masa’s fellows become alumni and step into independence, they will balance dreams with daunting uncertainties. We hope we have prepared them to carry forward a torch of hope, justice, identity, and commitment. Our commitment to this wonderful generation is to adapt to the challenges we face, guide them to learn from our mistakes and successes, and most importantly, leave them with a world where they can work as they will, undoubtedly, create a better world."

"Spread across approximately 100 schools from the northern town of Beit She'an to the southern city of Beer Sheva, and from the bustling streets of Jerusalem to the serene shores of Netanya, the fellows play a crucial role in enhancing English language skills among Israeli youth." We thrive to offer our fellows an immersive experience and to allow them to connect to Israel and their Jewish identity in an authentic way. During MITF, Fellows not only forge deep connections, but they are able to give back to Israeli society in the field of education. Now more than ever, the contribution of this impactful Masa program echoes for years even after the program ends.

Andrey is back in Israel and we can’t be more happier for him and his family! #BringThemBackHome
We are overjoyed to share the inspiring story of Andrey Kozlov, who met with our Chairman, Doron Almog Avrutsky. Doron shared that Andrey was upright and attentive, filled with gratitude and struggling to adjust to the sharp transition from Hamas captivity to the comfort of a hotel, surrounded by family and friends. His mother, Yevgenia, looked at him with endless love—truly a heroic mother. “When I asked Andrey about his plans for the future, he simply said that Israel will always be an inseparable part of him. He wants to continue living here, even with the fear. Just like a year and a half ago, when he decided to come to Israel through the Masa Israel Journey program, he loves Israel today even more. He shared that he always felt his life was a series of coincidences, but now he understands how fortunate he is. He sees the strength and goodness of the people around him and knows it is not to be taken for granted. Andrey arrived in Israel a few months before October 7 through the Jewish Agency's Masa program, driven by true Zionism. Since his abduction, we have awaited his return with great hope, and now he is back—emotional, strong, and happy. I told Andrey, his mother Yevgenia, his father Michael, his brother Dmitry, and his girlfriend Jennifer: Israel is your home, and we will always be here for you. Andrey has been given the gift of life once again. We pray for a brave and noble act that will bring all the hostages home.” Shabbat Shalom and may we hear more good news soon.💙 #JewishAgency #MasaIsrael #WelcomeHomeAndrey #ShabbatShalom #BringThemAllHome
