On Yom Hashoah, Israel's national Holocaust Remembrance Day, we come together to remember the six million lives lost to Nazi persecution. It's a day of reflection, but also a call to action—to uplift one another, stand against hate, and build a world where discrimination, antisemitism, and racism have no place. This year, we had the privilege of joining "Shabbat Metuka", a privately funded non-profit that brings hope and sustenance to Holocaust survivors in Israel by delivering weekly food bags. Their dedication reminds us that small acts of kindness can make a world of difference. We invite everyone to support this cause and spread kindness, compassion, and understanding. We were honored to host Vered Shavit at our office today for an enlightening lecture on a pivotal issue in today's digital age: Digital Heritage Management. Vered, a distinguished lecturer and expert in the field, brought a unique blend of personal experience and in-depth research to the discussion, making her insights exceptionally poignant and applicable. Her dedication to raising awareness about the importance of organizing and managing our digital lives provided valuable perspectives not only for individuals but also for companies engaged in digital services. Digital Heritage Management is an essential practice in today’s interconnected world where our digital footprints extend far beyond our physical presence. This discipline involves careful organization and preservation of digital assets to ensure that they are effectively managed and respectfully passed on to future generations or designated handlers after one's death. The importance of this task cannot be overstated, as it not only helps in maintaining one’s digital legacy in alignment with their wishes but also significantly eases the emotional and administrative burden on loved ones managing these assets posthumously. Moreover, companies and organizations play a critical role in this process; they are tasked with handling sensitive data with the utmost compassion and understanding. It is their responsibility to ensure that digital assets are treated with dignity and that policies regarding digital inheritance are clear, equitable, and accessible to all. Today, we were honored to participate in Israel's largest IT convention – the Israeli Chamber of Information Technology Annual Convention. This year's theme, "The Digital & AI Storm – Steering the Future," was incredibly timely and relevant, offering a deep dive into the latest trends in digital transformation that are shaping businesses today. A key focus was the resilience and continued growth of Israel's high-tech sector in the face of recent challenges. Our Country Manager, Shimon Elkabetz , took part in an engaging panel discussion that explored strategies for fostering innovation and ensuring the Israeli tech industry's competitive edge on the global stage. Artificial intelligence (AI) was also a hot topic at the convention. Levi Shaul, Ph.D. , our AI and Data Lead, gave an informative talk on "AI as a Game-Changer for the Future-Oriented Organization." Levi examined the transformative potential of AI technologies and how companies can leverage these powerful tools to drive growth and efficiency. It was an invaluable day of learning, networking, and envisioning a brighter future for the tech industry.
