The proposed method is based on radial basis function of neural network instead of SOM neural network is resist to font variant. The proposed method can be used for both upper and lower case alphabet and also for digits. Here the size of the character is not a big problem as we are using 10x10 matrix resizing for all the characters. The correspondence measure neural network is applied to identify character but in radial basis function the extracted character are compared to database and target is defined. The accuracy of the existing method is rapidly decreases as the samples to the database but in proposed method the accuracy is almost constant and does not decreases rapidly. We achieved more than 92% of accuracy for each character that includes 20 different font.
The main objective of wool scouring is to remove grease, dirt and suint from the wool without dam... more The main objective of wool scouring is to remove grease, dirt and suint from the wool without damaging the fibre properties. The scouring method and technique applied have a direct effect on the quality of scoured wool. Aqueous scouring is usually carried out under conditions of high temperature and high detergent concentrations. The use of high amount of chemicals and process parameters in the conventional methods of wool scouring generate some serious consequences both for the environment and the industry while effluent treatment and disposal. Moreover, conventional mechanical scouring can result in poor whiteness and a higher level of residual dirt. A new technique of dry scouring using nano clay material can obviate this and provide a greener and economically efficient alternative to conventional scouring processes. The proposed study is aimed at developing a method for scouring wool in a dry medium using fine powders of grease adsorbing materials that involves an efficient means of producing clean wool in a very eco-friendly manner with minimum or no water. Scouring of raw greasy wool can be carried out in dry state with the help of various grease adsorbing particles (e.g. nano clay) at very low temperature (less than 50˚C) in an eco-friendly manner. In this paper the process parameters were studied like effect of temperature, nano clay to wool ratio. The whiteness index of dry scoured wool fibres was found to be better than convention detergent and alkali based aqueous scouring process.

Also the designed antenna performance is optimized by using defected ground structure concept. Two different shapes L and T of defected ground structure are proposed and designed. Results of proposed design are well enough to design hardware and can be implemented for practical purpose.

Hence this paper is presenting the study of RF-MEMS technology which is continuously growing and MEMS for reconfigurable antenna it is very interesting and most valuable issues for optimization designing. It is investigated relationship between different designing parameters and the device performance for designing a MEMS device. The structure of antenna is determined by selecting the optimal dimensions for example beam length and beam width of the antenna, Torsion arm length, Switch thickness, Holes and Gap are used. To optimize the dimensions, and getting the optimum results the GSO algorithm is proposed with artificial neural network that will reduce the errors and produce optimal output at the end. The implementation of the proposed method will be done by Matlab 2013b and the performance will be analyzed with existing methodologies.

Due to these, the users cannot differentiate between fake applications and the real ones. To overcome this difficulty, a classification based approach for ranking fraud in mobile Apps has been proposed in this paper. Historic records of ranking, rating and reviews have been collected for real world App data. Ranking, rating and review based evidences have been collected from the records of mobile Apps. The ranking and rating based evidences have been mined. Review manipulations have been detected using Naive Bayes classification technique. To find the shady activities performed for increasing the popularity of the mobile application, the reviews are aggregated. The behaviour of these evidences has been investigated and evaluated for real world App data. Fraudulence has been detected by the inspection of the evidences.

The materials used for these applications generally require light weight and greater wear resistance than those of conventional materials. Aluminium hybrid composites are a new generation of metal matrix composites that satisfy the recent demands of advanced engineering applications. These demands are obtained due to improved mechanical properties such as light weight & great wear resistance, amenability to conventional processing technique and possibility of reducing production cost. The performance of these materials is mostly dependent on selecting the right combination of reinforcing materials since some of the processing parameters are associated with the reinforcing particulates. A few combinations of reinforcing particulates have been conceptualized in the design of aluminium hybrid composites. This paper summarizes the mechanical and tribological behaviour of Aluminium composites influenced by different combination of reinforcing materials. The video segmentation of moving objects is one of the important topics in video surveillance and computer vision systems. In the past, k-means clustering segmentation is a method to segment the moving objects. But that technique cannot identify the moving objects accurately in videos. In this paper detection of the moving object using threshold based kalman filter. The threshold based kalman filter has good performance under dynamic texture scene in real time applications. The experimental results show that the threshold based kalman filter is efficient and robust for the dynamic environment compared to k-means clustering.

The datacollected were carefully analyzed using descriptive statistics to represent theraw data in a meaningful manner. The results show that strong relationshipexists between training and development, employees' performance andcompetitive advantage. Summary of the findings indicates that there is strongrelationship between the tested dependent variable and independentconstruct. However, I.T industries should not relent in their quest totrain their staff to develop new ideas that will keep improving and retainingemployee performance.

Sustainable concrete creates less societal impact during its entire life cycle. Post-consumer wastes and industrial by-products can be and must be used in concrete to make " greener " concrete. It is known that concrete is weak in tension. A high performance material is obtained when fibers are introduced in concrete. The successful behavior of concrete reinforced with glass, plastics, tires, and wood fibers had been strongly proved in the literature .In this paper an attempt has been made to investigate the effect of sparkler wires in the mechanical properties of high strength concrete (Green Concrete). To validate the efficiency of sparkler wires, the results are compared with normal concrete and steel fiber reinforced concrete(SFRC).For both sustainable concrete and SFRC low volume fractions viz 0.25%, 0.5% and 0.75% were chosen. On comparison of the mechanical properties it was found that the performance of sustainable concrete was on par with the SFRC.

This paper presents the implementation of a virtual system which includes various types of percus... more This paper presents the implementation of a virtual system which includes various types of percussion instruments like drums, bells, conga etc. These instruments can be played with hand gestures which will be detected by leap motion camera and demonstrate the percussion instrument on a computer screen , which will give the effect of the instruments being played physically. Three different instruments can be played simultaneously as the camera vision is segmented in three different segments each containing different musical instrument, hence making the system reconfigurable. The system has provision for increasing or decreasing volume based on how hard the gesture hits. This system provides an advanced exposure for the user to play music by using bare hands and without any physical contact with the system.

Inorder to examine the proposed method ,simulations carried out in the system with dynamic nonlinear loads and micro turbine the photovoltaic system taken has controlled dg inverter source with maximum power point tracking system .the main advantage proposed control approach is the multiple control approach is that multiple control functions are integrated in to a single DG inverter with out additional sensing devices and hardware equipment The Active Power filter (APF) acts as an interface between renewable energy sources and the AC bus of a microgrid and uses an improved control strategy, which makes possible to inject energy in the microgrid, compensate the current harmonics and correct the power factor. Simulation results show the validity of the innovative control strategy.

Image segmentation is the most crucial functions in image analysis and processing. Also segmentation results affect all the subsequent processes of image analysis. Manual segmentation of medical image by the radiologist is not only a tedious and time consuming process but also not very accurate. Hence it is necessary to develop medical image segmentation algorithms that are accurate and efficient. In this work, we propose a Region based technique. The proposed method has been tested and evaluated on several medical images. In this work, the medical image is lineated and extracted out so that it can be viewed individually. The results demonstrate that the proposed Region based Segmentation algorithm is highly efficient over Threshold based segmentation. This is validated using the performance measures such as completeness and correctness.

In this paper, simulative analysis of radio-over fiber system employing external modulation using Mach-Zehnder modulator is carried out by considering the effect of fiber dispersion. Analytical and simulative analysis shows the periodic behaviour of system with respect to modulation index and length of the optical fiber. The present analysis shows that the fading of radio frequency (RF) signal amplitude having cyclic variation depends on modulation index. In this paper the fundamental and upto 2 nd order harmonics of modulation sidebands which are generated by nonlinear response of optical modulator are studied.

Temperature distribution for (3 1m) two building models, one with green grass insulation and the other without green grass insulation, is adopted in this study. Green roofs simply mean the construction of gardens on rooftops of buildings and that action needed to prevent water leakage arrangements through the ceiling and then cover the roof especially those parks layers designed and agricultural by soil brushes then do the planting various plants where. Green roofs serve several purposes for a building, such as absorbing rainwater, providing insulation, creating a habitat for wildlife, increasing benevolence and decreasing stress of the people around the roof by providing a more aesthetically pleasing landscape, and helping to lower urban air temperatures. Also, Green roofs are a passive cooling technique that stops incoming solar radiation from reaching the building structure below. It is found that the green grass which is used in the present work is a good insulation for buildings and it will be more effective in hot dry regions. Also, the relative humidity reaches about 60% by using this green grass and it will be suitable in the hot dry weathers.

The requirement for precise machining of composites has been increased massively because of extensive utilization in several engineering fields. In the present study, efforts are made to investigate the effect of various factors on multiple performance characteristics during the machining of Al/SiC/Gr hybrid composites. Machining experiments were conducted as per Taguchi orthogonal array in all geared lathe using tungsten carbide tool by varying the factors such as cutting speed, feed rate, depth of cut and combined equal weight fraction of SiC/Gr particulates. The optimum factors in machining Al/SiC/Gr hybrid composites for minimum surface roughness and maximum material removal rate were determined by using grey relational grade from the grey relational analysis.
