UPMC Sports Surgery Clinic reposted this
It’s been a month since I completed my placement at UPMC Sports Surgery Clinic in Dublin and I can confidently say that the past 12 months have been transformative. The experience offered significant personal and professional growth, from engaging in 3D biomechanical testing to learning how to write code for my research project (which I hope to have published!). I am especially grateful to Stacey Kung for her mentorship throughout my time there. I would also like to thank all the physiotherapists and strength and conditioning coaches (especially Ben Daly and Mark Brady) expanding my knowledge beyond biomechanics and inspiring me to pursue my UKSCA certification. I’m excited to return to the University of Bath for my final year, eager to apply all I've learned and ready to take on the next opportunity.
