KPMG Future Analytics is delighted to have secured the final planning consent for a hotel and aparthotel development in Dungarvan, Co. Waterford. No third party appeal to contend with! It will see delivery of a 7-storey hotel and aparthotel development with function halls, across from our previously permitted 6-storey boutique hotel (40-room), consented last year. This latest project will deliver 45 no. hotel rooms, 42 no. aparthotel rooms, and 2 no. function halls with the addition of bar / café, indoor and outdoor seating areas, and a new public link-way connecting local streets. KPMG Future Analytics supplied a full spectrum of planning consultancy services throughout the project which included the provision of strategic planning advice, tourism market study, and planning reporting setting out an evidenced based justification for the development in the context of the sensitive redevelopment of a derelict town centre site. This is a fantastic result and we look forward to seeing the implementation of this important development in Dungarvan. From Garda Headquarters to 37,636m² of Grade A office accommodation, our latest development at Harcourt Square is testament to the speed and precision with which our team operates. This timelapse demonstrates the team's efficient process; from the minimum use of materials during site pours to the quick turnaround of the construction. It shows a rapid Slipform concrete forming system in use during the creation of two high-quality cores containing lift and stair shafts. The system, comprised of three decks, enabled a climb of approximately 1.5mtrs a day over 8 hours, 5 days a week, guided by target sensors to ensure the core stayed within tolerance throughout. Built as two interconnected headquarters on the 1.9 acre Dublin city centre site, Harcourt Square is designed to meet the evolving needs of office users with a focus on efficiency and sustainability. Well done to all involved. Altu are thrilled to announce the completion of Eglinton Place, delivering 148 unique apartments in the heart of Donnybrook, Dublin 4. The landmark building with a 12-storey feature corner tower marks the gateway to the City Centre. The building is articulated with limestone, framed buff brick, aluminium, and glass; high quality material finishes that respond appropriately to the context while also giving Eglinton Place a unique identity. Eglinton Place is an example of how sustainable, high density and high-quality residential design can be achieved in constrained urban environments, creating wonderful places for people to live in the city while also enhancing the urban environment. This project reflects our commitment to innovative design, sustainability, and quality in construction. Altu would like to extend our gratitude to our client Richmond Homes and the dedicated project team who brought this vision to life. The video below offers a view of the completed building, its relationship to the context, intricate details and thoughtful design elements that make this project special.
