The Irish Dental Hygienist's Association strives to: To promote the study of Oral Health and to provide a consultative body to whom reference may be made by public or private bodies for guidance in connection with the Dental Hygienist Profession. To maintain the honour and interests of the Dental Hygienist Profession. To represent and safeguard the common interests of members. To provide opportunities for post-qualification education. (based on the objectives of the Constitution)
