We truly believe that putting the right people in the right positions is the best way we can make the biggest difference as an organization. Our goal is not just to be a recruitment and staffing business but a company that helps facilitate significant change. We know that through excellent service and delivery we not only succeed as a business but effect positive impact and change on a much wider level. This is a key part of our core values and is reflected in the commitment and drive our staff have to deliver the best service possible. This starts with proper engagement and gaining a deep understanding of clients needs and their culture and goals as an organisation. From there we can properly and successfully identify, through our excellent vetting and screening process, the ideal candidates for our clients. We take great pride in building and maintaining relationships for the long term.

Earth will temporarily capture a "second moon" on September 29, 2024, in the form of asteroid 2024 PT5. This small asteroid, part of the Arjuna asteroid group, will orbit Earth briefly until November 25 before returning to its solar orbit. Unlike our permanent moon, this mini-moon is only 37 feet wide and won’t be visible to the naked eye. Such captures are common, but the asteroid won't complete a full orbit around Earth. Check out the article below for more details.

We are delighted to partner with Hometree and adopt an acre of rainforest as part of the Wild Atlantic Rainforest Project. Ireland’s temperate rainforests are a rare and internationally significant aspect of our natural heritage, and this project aims to restore and regenerate them. By adopting this acre, we’re giving these ecosystems the opportunity to thrive through a combination of planting and natural regeneration, allowing them to return to a rich, biodiverse habitat filled with ferns, mosses, lichens, and various flora and fauna. This initiative represents a unique opportunity to support healthy ecosystems, foster climate resilience, and reconnect with nature. Hometree’s short delivery timeframe highlights the urgency of this project, and we hope its positive impact will be a lasting legacy, enjoyed by future generations. Native trees, such as oak and willow, play a vital role in Ireland’s biodiversity, supporting up to 300 insect species per tree and up to 10,000 individual insects. Expanding native woodlands provides essential habitats for a range of species, including the Pine Marten, Red Squirrel, Irish Stoat, Hen Harrier, Jay, Coal Tit, and Crossbill, among others. As part of our ongoing partnership with Hometree, with whom we have been involved since their inception, we have planted an additional 500 native Irish trees. Hometree plants the right trees in the right place at the right time on charity land to be maintained and kept in perpetuity. To learn more about the great work they do and the great projects they run check out Hometree's website: https://www.hometree.ie/ It's not just about planting trees, it's about community, culture, education and getting back to nature. The Thwaites Glacier in Antarctica, often called the "Doomsday Glacier," is on the verge of collapse. This glacier, about the size of Great Britain, has been losing ice at an accelerated rate due to warming ocean water seeping beneath it. Scientists predict that parts of the glacier could disintegrate within the next three to five years. If Thwaites were to fully collapse, it could raise global sea levels by over two feet, and even more if surrounding glaciers destabilize.

Last week we were in Cork attending B Lab Ireland's first B Corp event hosted by Climeaction, Otonomee, and Change by Degrees. We saw some great panellists doing excellent work in their industries. Seeing so much interest and action happening in the sustainability space was really encouraging! Our own, Keith Molony, was part of a panel sharing his experiences doing recruitment for over 20 years and the major changes the recruitment industry has gone through. If you want to read more about it, take a look at the link in the comments. We're looking forward to the next one!
