☀ 43% increase in Ireland's Solar Capacity with c. 65 homes per day adding Solar PV. According to the 2024 'Scale of Solar' report from the Irish Solar Energy Association (ISEA), there has been an almost 43 per cent increase in Ireland’s solar power generation capacity, with a significant portion of this capacity increase attributable to residential homes. Despite our northerly latitude, Ireland has huge potential to generate electricity from solar PV and Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) grants have accelerated adoption beyond expectations, leading to a 'solar revolution'.
