The Ennis 2040 Economic and Spatial Strategy seeks to support compact growth and realise sustainable economic, social and environmental opportunities in Ennis and Clare over the next 20 years. As a long-term strategy, it will not only transform the town as a great place to live and visit but also position Ennis and Clare as an attractive investment location creating future jobs in the region. The Ennis 2040 (Strategic Development) Designated Activity Company (DAC) is a key component to the success and implementation of the strategy and the delivery of strategic development sites. It will support the achievement of the objectives set out in the strategy in terms of employment, climate change, an improved investment location and an accessible place of quality living and tourism.
