We recently celebrated a milestone at emeis, our first Training Academy Graduation! 🎓 At emeis, we believe in the power of learning. 🎉 Exciting news! 🎉 This week we kicked off “Zero Waste Week” with a commitment to reduce energy, waste, water and food waste as part of our 2024 ESG objectives in our Homes and Offices! We have eliminated single-use items in our offices and replaced them with eco-friendly alternatives. ♻ This is just the beginning of our journey towards a greener workplace, as we aim to make both of our offices more sustainable. 🎉 It's Feel-Good Friday and today, we're celebrating one of the residents at our Earlsbrook House Nursing Home, Godfrey Graham. 🎉 Godfrey has had an incredible four-decade career as a camera operator at RTE and has captured some of Ireland's most significant moments. 🎥 From politics to entertainment, Godfrey's work behind the lens has brought countless Irish stories to life. He wrote about his incredible career in his memoir 'Forty Years Behind the Lens at RTE'. Offering a unique glimpse into the evolution of Irish Television. 📺 Godfrey was joined by RTE's Ronan Kelly and they discussed Godfrey's book and experiences with the other residents at Earlsbrook House. What a great way to celebrate Nursing Homes Week for this year's theme 'Moments Captured, Life Celebrated!' 📸 We're incredibly honored to have Godfrey share his extraordinary journey with us.
