Introducing our Consultant of the Week, Prof Richard Watchorn! 💙 Prof Watchorn is a Consultant Dermatologist at Beacon Hospital. His areas of practice include general adult dermatology including inflammatory dermatology and skin cancer. Prof Watchorn has studied and worked in both Ireland and the UK including a research fellowship at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. His subspecialist expertise includes skin disease in immunosuppressed individuals and genital dermatology. A huge thank you to Prof Watchorn for the valuable work he does with our patients. 💙

Our team of experts are on hand to offer immediate access to medical assessment and treatment. 💙 Our Emergency Department is a consultant-led Department backed by our full-service hospital with over 300 Consultants and 1,900 healthcare professionals. Our ED is open Monday – Friday between 10am-7pm, and on Saturday between 10am-6pm. The ED is closed on Sunday and Bank Holidays. Beacon Hospital Emergency Department is a walk-in service treating an array of conditions from minor injuries, sprains, breaks and cardiac complaints, to acute medical and surgical emergencies. 💙
