Our hiring process
Thank you for considering a career with HTEC! We recognize the importance of your initial contact with our organization. Your experience matters to us, and our hiring process is carefully designed to help you present yourself in the best possible way in a friendly and comfortable environment. The process consists of four stages, and each is described in detail below—so you know what to expect.
01
HR interview
The candidate meets one of our Talent Acquisition professionals. The focus of this meeting is on the candidate’s previous experience, affinities, and expectations. This is also an opportunity for the candidate to find out more about the company, our projects, benefits, culture, and anything else that might interest them.

Experience matrix
The candidate completes an experience matrix — a self-evaluation form mapping their previous knowledge, experience, certifications, etc. The matrix is designed to give us an overview of the candidate’s knowledge and familiarity with various tech-related concepts and topics.

Tech interview
In this step, the candidate meets technical interviewers, who present them with a tailor-made tech challenge based on their previous knowledge, experience matrix, and the tech requirements for the given job position. Please note that non-engineering candidates may not be required to complete this step.
04
Final meeting
If the candidate is a match and our mutual expectations for the position align, the Talent Acquisition team schedules the final meeting to present an informal offer and discuss next steps should the candidate accept.
