We’re back from Dreamforce ‘24. A great week, crammed with exciting announcements, interesting meetings, and of course a brilliant Dreamfest concert. Much will be written about #Agentforce, and rightly so. But for Frankly, the real eye opener was the pace at which Salesforce is delivering the #NEW Salesforce Revenue Cloud (formerly Revenue Lifecycle Management) roadmap. It seems to us that Salesforce is further ahead than forecast at DF23, which is really something.  Whilst Salesforce doesn’t really talk about the details of the engineering investment, it’s clear that it is very significant and perhaps shows how important Revenue Cloud is to their strategy. In the run up to Dreamforce we wanted to provide an update on the plans we unveiled earlier in the summer to build a Product Designer application for Salesforce CPQ. What motivated us? Well, the Frankly team spends a lot of their working time, configuring and administering Salesforce CPQ for our customers and we observed that there are many things aimed at optimising the Sales user’s experience, but very few targeted at the community of CPQ designers and Admins. So we set about thinking about what we could do to address this gap and improve the lives of our Frankly colleagues and other CPQ enthusiasts. After all, we’re worth it!!!! So, here’s a video introduction…… We’d love to hear your feedback, and if that can be in person in San Francisco, then all the better; the coffee is on us.

Last week, Frankly Solutions leadership team spent a productive time in Split, meeting with our extended team. One of the highlights was reviewing the significant progress made on our inaugural product offering, development of which is spearheaded by the talented Zdeslav N. (Zed). And yes, unlike in Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction, Zed is very much alive! We're excited to take the covers off 'Product Designer for Salesforce CPQ’ (Working Title), and show it to the world. Designed to simplify the tasks that Product Designers, Product and Pricing Managers, and Salesforce Admins frequently undertake, this new app was developed by Product Designers, for Product Designers. It offers a task-based user experience that conceals the complexity of the underlying Salesforce object model, and introduces capabilities that extend Salesforce CPQ, such as Product Definitions (aka Product Templates), Version Management, and Variant Generation & Management We fully support Salesforce’s rapid development of the Revenue Lifecycle Management (RLM) suite of products and are enjoying getting to grips with the new capabilities. At the same time, we want to support those customers who choose to remain using Salesforce CPQ. We can’t wait for you to see what we’ve built. It’s the first weekend of the Wimbledon tennis tournament, so of course it was raining when we got back! FYI Salesforce Revenue Cloud team!

What a belter of a couple of days in London. Frankly Croatian Crew flew in to experience the #SalesforceTour, London Edition and we got things started the day before with a Frankly Solutions company update, table tennis and beer pong!!! Credit where credit is due - Salesforce put on a brilliant show. Hearing about Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd success with #AI, the announcement of the 4 billion investment in a London AI center, and the hands-on #RevenueLifecycleManagement workshops competed strongly with the Salesforce Ben #afterParty in the race for the highlight of the day (/night)!!! As ever, the real joy comes from reconnecting with old friends from the eco-system, and of course meeting lots of people for the first time. Special thanks to Wendy (Barbara) Morée for introducing Ian Chick and Šimo (Simon) Brtan to UKI leaders, and the wider Revenue Lifecycle Management ecosystem. It’s the start of a new relationship, so look out for Ian and Simo in Salesforce Tower over the coming months. To end on a more serious note (sorry)…….#RevenueLifecycleManagement is where it’s at and it’s where Frankly is at; it’s in our DNA and we’d love to help you explore it. Eight days and counting until Frankly Solutions “Team Croatia” hits London for the Salesforce London World Tour event. We’ll be warming up with a company event on Wednesday, ready to get stuck into World Tour bright and early on Thursday 6th. We’re looking forward to learning about the latest innovations in #RevenueLifecycleManagement, catching up with our network, and hopefully meeting some new people along the way.  We’re delighted to be accompanied by the newest member of our senior leadership team, Wendy (Barbara) Morée, who is no stranger to World Tour events across EMEA.
