They might not be as well-known in Australia as the British royal family, but that doesn't mean the Dutch royal family is any less glamorous – and what better way to get to know them than visually?

Many of the families carried sunflowers like those that grew at the scene of the crash, and laid them next to the 298 trees planted at the Dutch memorial site to commemorate each victim.
King Willem-Alexander together with chairman of the MH17 Disaster Foundation, Piet Ploeg, lay sunflowers during the commemoration at the national monument.
Grieving families recited the names and ages of all the passengers and crew killed in the tragedy during the solemn ceremony near Amsterdam.
King Willem-Alexander was joined at the memorial by politicians and diplomats, including Australian Attorney-General Mark Dreyfus.
"Today we remain unwavering in our determination to ensure truth, justice and accountability for the victims and their loved ones," Dreyfus said.
Following the ceremony, King Willem-Alexander met with relatives of MH17 victims and heard their stories and memories of their loved ones.

The royal clapped his hands and responded, "Really? That was not Photoshopped apparently!"
He then waved at the adults as they laughed at his joke.

On day one of their visit, October 18, they were trying to take a photo beneath the famous Jacaranda trees in Pretoria but found their motorcade blocked by a locked gate.
So the royal party got out and took the photos where their cars stopped – in the middle of the street.
But other cars behind them started to approach, forcing one of the royal protection officers to run towards the vehicles, shooing them away so the photos could be taken without interruption.
Queen Maxima and King Willem-Alexander found the situation amusing and were photographed laughing by the waiting media.
The King and Queen eventually got their photo despite the initial chaos.
