Provides guidance on protection of classified information (marking, transporting, storage & destruction)

Conducts inspections of organizations with classified holdings

Conducts SIPRNet surveys for open storage areas

Provides security education material

Provides Information and Security Support to Garrison and Ft. Gregg-Adams tenant organizations

Develops & provides initial/refresher training, coordinates Threat Awareness and Reporting Program (TARP) briefings

Foreign Disclosure & Foreign Visits

The Garrison Security Manager is the Foreign Disclosure Officer (FDO) for Garrison only. Services to Garrison include:

  • Process requests for disclosure of US classified and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) to foreign governments
  • Coordinate official foreign visits
