While trade and economic strategies were at the forefront of the discussion at Australian-New Zealand Chamber of Commerce Philippines (ANZCHAM)'s August Monthly Members Meeting “New Zealand’s Economic Strategy: State of the Economy, Building a Sustainable Future Together” held at the Shangri-La Makati, the gathering also highlighted a crucial yet sometimes overlooked aspect of bilateral ties: the power of people-to-people connections. Last August 17, the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Manila was transformed into a celebration venue for Indonesia’s 79th Independence Day. Founded by industry veteran Lorenzo Antinori, #BarLeone has officially secured its place as the best cocktail bar in the continent, just over a year since its opening.
