Last week, we were thrilled to attend the De Montfort University Contour Fashion Show as proud platinum sponsors. Now in its 77th year, DMU's Contour Fashion course is widely regarded by industry experts as one of the world’s best degrees dedicated to the design of intimate apparel. It's always a privilege to attend the show and witness the creativity and innovation of the students, and for us, especially how they incorporate Stretchline products into their final designs. We were particularly proud to see the outstanding ‘Lucia’ luxury bridal collection from our 2023 Design Intern, Holly Lavery, who achieved First Class Honors in Contour Fashion Design. This year, we had the honour of selecting a winner for the Best Technical Collection from the twenty students who participated. We looked at elements such as technical finish, fabric choice, complexity, and overall aesthetics. After careful consideration by our team, including Group Design Lead Caroline Ellmore, the award was presented by Barry Head, European Sales and Marketing Director, to Meryn Parry for her Parisian-inspired collection, ‘Midnight at the Moulin Rouge’. Emerging talents infuse the industry with new energy and ideas every year. We look forward to possible future collaborations with these inspiring students - the contour class of 2024!

🌍 This week, our teams have been making a difference for World Environment Day under the theme of #GenerationRestoration! We've been busy planting nearly 400 trees across local communities near our facilities in Honduras and Indonesia, with more tree planting planned in China and Mexico. 🌳 But that's not all! Our teams have also participated in educational talks, quizzes, and recycling workshops. 🎉📚♻️ It's fantastic to see everyone come together to create an impact in their local communities and raise awareness. Last month, the Stretchline Indonesia teams honoured Ramadan with a meaningful act of charity by distributing Iftar meals. This initiative, a cherished annual tradition in Indonesia, demonstrates our team's commitment to community support and reflects our company's value of social responsibility. Team members generously donated funds and collaborated with a local restaurant to prepare over 1000 food parcels, which were personally distributed to the community on five separate occasions during the holy month. The month concluded with a special Iftar shared among colleagues. Such dedication by our Indonesia team is a testament to the core values and sense of unity that Stretchline upholds globally.
