    Canterbury has revealed its highly anticipated The British & Irish Lions jersey for the 2025 Qatar Airways Men’s Lions Series in Australia. Created with the Lions fans at heart, the jersey combines rich legacy, team unity and innovative technology in its bold design. The big reveal happened this morning in Flannels, Oxford Street in London, hosted by The Good, The Bad & The Rugby. The jersey has been updated in a deeper shade of red with a classic jacquard pattern woven into the fabric and incorporates NFC technology allowing fans to gain access to the Lions Clubhouse app - a hub for insider content, which also launches today and will be live throughout the Tour. Lions Origin Clubs and Schools initiatives are showcased in the campaign, with the featured models all having ties to these programmes. Luke Doddrell, Canterbury of New Zealand Global Brand Director, says: “At Canterbury, our commitment has always been to produce high-performance products that empower athletes to reach their full potential and we are proud to have been doing that for over 120 years.     Saturday the 26th of October was World Swim Day. Speedo International Ltd celebrated by leading like-minded communities around the globe into the water through the Speedo Swim Club. From their birthplace in Bondi to London, Speedo partnered with run clubs to add a swim into their group sessions, bringing more fitness-driven communities into the world of water. They also teamed up with Pride Swim for the first-ever Big Dip event in Brighton in the UK, which saw 250 from the LGBTQIA+ community jump in the sea. Getting people in the water is one part of World Swim Day; another is ensuring more can in the future. We can’t wait to see what the Swim Club gets up to next!

    This week was a big one here at Mitre Sports where we launched our new Adobe Women's FA Cup and Emirates FA Cup official match balls...with the help of some of our friends. SoccerAM's John Fendley & Tubes hosted Newcastle United Football Club superstars Lia Cataldo and Elysia Boddy for a Q&A along with Sunday League Royalty, Comedian and Gaffer 'Steve Bracknall' and NTS radio host Macca, providing the tunes. The 1st round proper for both competitions kicks off next weekend, and we cannot wait to see the balls in action. Big thanks to our pals at All Our Friends who pulled this together to highlight the occassion. #DifferentLeague

    Over the summer we launched the ‘Getting Active for Good’ campaign, encouraging our people to move more, and raising money for charity along the way. In response to the statement we co -signed with the World Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry (WFSGI), calling for urgent action in the face of a global physical inactivity crisis, we challenged our people to move for 150 minutes each week for five weeks. To motivate everyone to get moving, the more they moved the more money was donated to charity. By reaching 150 minutes, prizes could be won, and money was added to each location’s charity pot! The money raised by each location would then be donated to a charity of their choice. In partnership with the The Football Association , they’re launching two new designs which will capture the attention of both players and fans on and off the pitch.     Speedo has partnered with Pride Swim for their first ever ‘The Big Dip’, set to take place at Brighton Beach in the UK on Saturday 26th October. The Big Dip will bring together over 200 people from the LGBTQIA+ community and their allies and will see them take the plunge into the chilly Brighton sea. It’s all in aid of the charity Switchboard Helpline, the national LGBTQIA+ helpline, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. Speedo’s ambassador Michael Gunning will be opening the event. Speaking about the event, Michael said: “Water has always been a powerful force in my life, and I can’t wait to join everyone at The Big Dip to share this special moment with the community. By coming together, we can share and celebrate the positive benefits the water can bring and create a safe space for everyone to thrive, whether they are new or seasoned swimmers.” If you’d like to take part, you can sign up here: https://lnkd.in/e56P9NSV.     Berghaus have launched their new ICONS collection and campaign, rooted in the styles that defined the brands bond with British culture in the 80s and 90s. The launch brings back archive classics the Trango, Mera Peak and Lumley jackets, reimagined and modernised for today. Captured by legendary British photographer Alasdair Mclellan, the campaign features icons Liam Gallagher and Sir Chris Bonington wearing pieces synonymous with their past. “My first encounter with Berghaus was through my brother Noel. He purchased a green one in the late 80s and I was always pinching it off him. They were all the rage and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on one of my own. I thought to myself ‘when I’m rich and famous I’m getting myself one.’ I finally did that and I’ve still got it to this day.
