The Higher Education Institutional Staff Profiles by Sex and Gender are published on annual basis. The HEA Centre of Excellence for Equality, Diversity & Inclusion receives and publishes data returns provided by HEA-funded institutions.

Higher Education Institutional Staff Profiles by Sex and Gender 31st December 2022 - data visualisations

These profiles provide information on key indicators which will contribute to the assessment of gender-equality in Irish HEIs including HEI leadership, governance and management structures, staff by category of post, discipline, grade and contract-type and Athena SWAN awards.

From 2022, the Profiles will be published on the HEA website in the form of data visualisations. All publications prior to 2022 are available in pdf format.
