About The Catholic Parish of Our Lady & St Joseph

The Catholic Parish of Our Lady and St Joseph has two halls available for hire by parishioners and the wider community. The two halls are located in separate locations in the Kent coastal town of Folkestone.

Our Lady, Guildhall Street, Folkestone (for SatNav we recommend CT20 1BU) - located within very close proximity to the town centre (the High Street) and only a couple of minutes walk from the bus station and ten to fifteen minutes from Folkestone Central (train station), this hall is in the heart of the town. There are several ‘Pay and Display’ car parks surrounding this location: Foresters Way, Shellons Street, Middelburg Square and Bouverie Place.

St Joseph’s, Narrabeen Road, Cheriton (for SatNav we recommend CT19 4DF)- located within a residential area yet only a couple of minutes walk from Cheriton High Street, this hall boasts it‘s own car park (up to 12 vehicles) and is conveniently a few minutes drive from M20 motorway. PLEASE NOTE: Unfortunately we are not currently taking any new bookings on a Sunday at St Joseph’s.

Both halls have well equipped kitchens, toilet facilities, tables and chairs. The hall at Our Lady’s (Folkestone) comprises of two adjoining halls, one smaller and the other larger (the larger hall has a high ceiling), whereas St Joseph’s (Cheriton) has one  hall.

The halls (Our Lady's, and St Joseph's) are licensed under fire regulations for a maximum capacity of  100 individuals.

Please note: The Premises may not be used for any purpose which is contrary to the teachings of the Catholic Church or which could cause offence. At all times, the Catholic nature of the Premises must be respected. Any breach or potential breach of this condition will mean that the use of the Premises is withdrawn. For security reasons, we do not accept bookings for parties between the ages of 16 to 24 years of age. The timing of a hall hire cannot exceed 10.00pm.
