Ashgabat ko Asgabat[1] ( Turkmen , [ɑʃʁɑˈbɑt] ; Persian , wanda da ya na da sunan Poltoratsk ( Russian ) tsakanin shekarar alif dubu daya da dari tara da goma sha tara 1919 da shekarar alif dubu daya da dari tara da ashirin da bakwai 1927), babban birni ne kuma birni mafi girma na Turkmenistan .
