This Plant is home to the new MINI Countryman and its over 9000 workers are the family that makes it possible. The Plant was designed to be resource-efficient in order to achieve the BMW Group's planet goals and commit to flexibility so that the new car models can implement the desired innovation at any time. But what's most important is the people making everything possible. In order to produce 1300 cars daily, the Plant's workers must work in unison and, to do so, the team's cultural values and innovative spirit are key. In the words of Plant Director Petra Peterhänsel, "It’s where all technologies meet, where all people meet". And the BMW Group Plant Leipzig is continually reevaluating, redefining, and rethinking mobility, stewardship, and inclusivity.
