📢 New project launch 📢 UBITECH hosted the kick-off meeting of the CASTOR Innovation Action, held in Athens on October 16-17. This project, funded by the European Commission, aims to implement a robust framework for a “Continuum of Trust” that enhances path agility and ensures trustworthy provisioning of devices and services across distributed networks. 🔒 Key innovations include: ▸ Composable Attestation: Distributed verification of the trustworthiness of computing nodes ▸ Optimal Path Calculation: Joint computation of trust properties and network resources. ▸ Vendor-agnostic Trusted Path Establishment: Secure paths across different administrative domains. As the project coordinator, UBITECH is leading the design and development of the CASTOR framework, which aims to integrate #trust into #computing #continuum ecosystems. 📢 New project launch📢 Last month, UBITECH ENERGY hosted the kick-off meeting of the HYNET “Pan-European interoperable AC-DC hybrid electricity networks” project, a groundbreaking initiative set to reshape the future of electricity grids across Europe! 🔌 #HYNET project aims to develop innovative technologies for the transnational design and planning of #AC #DC hybrid power systems. 🔍 Key Objectives: ▸ Develop innovative technologies for transnational design and planning of AC/DC hybrid power systems. ▸ Establish standardized methodologies and interoperability for multi-terminal, multi-vendor MVDC and LVDC systems. ▸ Define and validate functional requirements for AC and DC grid forming capabilities. ▸ Design and demonstrate a complete workbench of innovative solutions that promotes the adoption and deployment of DC power systems across all voltage levels while evaluating the technoeconomic benefits of DC vs AC systems. This project, funded by the European Commission, aims to enhance public health resilience against climate change impacts in the EU’s Boreal Region, with a special focus on the Baltic countries. 🔍 Key Focus Areas: ▸ Monitoring climate stressors ▸ Developing climate and epidemiological models ▸ Generating forecasts through simulated scenarios ▸ Identifying risks and vulnerabilities in the climate and geography of Baltic countries, as well as related health, well-being, and socioeconomic stressors ▸ Employing artificial intelligence (AI) for early warnings ▸ Recommending nature-based solutions and adaptations Within AURORA, UBITECH develops a cutting-edge Simulation Engine. 🛡️ Empowering the Next Generation of #Cybersecurity Leaders 🛡️ We are thrilled to announce our continued sponsorship of Team Europe in the 3rd International Cybersecurity Challenge, that is taking place in Santiago, Chile, from October 28th to November 1st.
