💡Recently, the WIDEX EU Project was initiated with the vision to widen EU excellence in advanced green technologies. 💼 The WIDEX EU Project addresses one of the biggest problems for the European economy: the crucial demand for minerals and elements, particularly in strategic sectors. The contribution of WIDEX to this goal is to bridge the research and innovation gap in the EU through the creation of a Virtual Centre and a Stakeholder Platform dedicated to the green and non-invasive technologies ecosystem. 🌱 The WIDEX project is strategically organized into several work packages (WPs) to ensure comprehensive coverage and impactful outcomes from which we will contribute to: 📈 ➡WP4: Centers on preparing the knowledge transfer around sustainability, circularity, and social assessment, promoting environmentally and socially responsible practices. ➡WP5: Will prepare the content for research management, coordination, and administration skills through targeted knowledge transfer. ➡WP6 & WP7: Executes the training and education activities to build capacity and expertise. ➡WP8 & WP9: Drive dissemination, communication, exploitation, and the establishment of an industrial cluster to foster collaboration and innovation in the Slovak raw materials sector. 🌍 We’re thrilled to share that the Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE JU), that provides funding to our THERMOFIRE CBE-JU Project has recently published its Annual Activity Report 2023! This comprehensive report highlights the innovative steps made in the bio-based materials. 🔍 THERMOFIRE CBE-JU is designing and developing novel, lightweight and low-cost bio-based and recyclable thermoplastic composites, using natural fibres and bio-based flame retardants for enhanced mechanical properties and fire resistance. 🤝United for Progress: Celebrating the successful organization of the VOT3D Consortium Meeting! 🎉 🏢 Recently we hosted the VOT3D Consortium Meeting at our facilities, where our partners had a chance to share and discuss the latest project developments. 💡VOT3D is revolutionizing the mining industry through digitization and automation. By pioneering advanced methods in the design of underground mining ventilation systems, VOT3D integrates robotics technology to 3D scan and digitize underground tunnels. 🌍We were honoured to participate in the latest C-SINK Project General Assembly last month and share our contributions with our partners. C-SINK is developing a comprehensive package of rigorously-tested and validated CDR solutions, supported by regulatory frameworks.
