Gaétan Siew (wey dem born insyd 1954) be a Mauritian architect.

Professional career

Siew graduate from de École Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Marseille (ENSAM),[1] France insyd 1979. He has been insyd private practice insyd Port Louis, Mauritius since 1981, as a founding partner of Lampotang & Siew Architects Ltd (later rebranded as VISIO[2] insyd 2016). Ein work includes master plans for de Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport insyd Mauritius, de Chinese neighbourhood insyd Port Louis den de Seychelles International Airport. Through ein foundation, de Global Creative Leadership Foundation, Gaetan advocates for societal equity den poverty alleviation through urban innovation. Ein work focuses on poverty struck regions insyd Small Island States, den de African continent. Through ein foundation he animates global conferences den shares ideas on innovative solutions for Communities, Councils den Governments.

He teaches at de University of Montpellier, France den Tsinghua University, Beijing, China on globalisation, urbanisation den architecture. He currently serves as a board member of ICOMOS, Advisory Board to de Tongji, den Shanghai College of Urbanism den Architecture. He be engage as an expert by de European Commission for policies on eco-innovation. He san be active insyd think tanks plus a number of partners of de industry, namely Orange-France Smart Cities den Innovation den Plastic-Europe New sustainable materials insyd transport den construction.[citation needed] He currently serves as an advisory position to de Smart City of Zenata (Casablanca) den advises numerous bodies on urban, societal den economic regeneration.
