The correspondence between multiwavelet denoising and nonlinear diffusion is investigated. The paper shows CL(2) and DGHM multiwavelets shrinkages are associated with a second-order diffusion equation. The paper derives high-order nonlinear diffusion equations associated with general multiwavelet shrinkages.
