CAREER

  • Named ACC Rookie of the Year, ACC Tournament MVP, honorable mention All-America and the Kyle Macy National Freshman of the Year
  • Led the Blue Devils in scoring and rebounding as a freshman, averaging 15.1 points and 8.9 rebounds
  • Secured 16 double-doubles as a freshman, leading all Division I freshman in 2022-23
  • As a sophomore, led the team in scoring (16.4), rebounds (8.3), blocks (1.5), steals (1.1), total field goals (220) and total free throws (112) 
  • Second Team All-America by the Associated Press, U.S. Basketball Writers Association and National Association of Basketball Coaches following his sophomore season, and was the only underclassman on each of the three, 15-player, teams.
  • Eclipsed the 1,000-point career milestone during the 2023-24 campaign, becoming just the seventh Blue Devil in the past 50 years to do so in their first two seasons.
  • Selected by the Utah Jazz with the 32nd pick in the 2024 NBA Draft.

  • 15 points and eight rebounds versus Michigan State, including 10 second-half points to held Duke secure the victory
  • 4 assists against La Salle -- also finished with 17 points, second-best on the team against the Explorers
  • First double-double of the season in game versus Southern Indiana -- scoring a game-high 21 points while grabbing a season-high 14 rebounds, including 10 on the defensive glass
  • Finished with 28 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists versus Hofstra -- the first Blue Devil ever with that stat line and just the 10th with at least 25/10/5
  • 10+ rebounds in four of the last six games and recorded his 20th career double-double (vs. Baylor, 12/20) in just his 47th game.
  • Scored 19 points in just 22 minutes versus Queens (12/30), shooting 8-of-10 (.800) from the field.

  • Scored 21 points and added 11 rebounds against Wake Forest (2/12), marking his eight double-double of the season and 24th of his career through 60 games as a Blue Devil

  • Scored 16 points in the second half against the Panthers, the most by a Blue Devil in the second half in 2022-23
  • Secured his 10th double-double of the season against Virginia Tech (1/23) with a career-high 29 points along with 10 boards
  • Matched a career high with nine field goals en route to a team-high 22 points against Notre Dame (2/14)
  • Finished the regular season with his 14th double-double -- a monster 22-point, 13-rebound effort in Duke’s win over North Carolina (3/4)
  • Averaged 19.6 points in the ACC Tournament -- including 20-point efforts against Pitt and Miami, and double-doubles against Miami and Virginia -- on his way to ACC Tournament MVP honors

  • Twin brother, Matthew, will be a freshman on the Harvard men’s basketball team in 2022-23
  • Uncle, Randall Hagerdon, played on the men’s basketball team at Boston College from 1989-91
  • Aunt, Beverly Hagerdon, played on the women’s basketball team at Dartmouth from 1984-88
