Mummy and Daddy

About “Mummy and Daddy”

“Mummy and Daddy,” released on January 7th, 1998, is Whitehouse’s 15th studio album. It is regarded as being “deeply disturbing” by headman William Bennett on the official website of the Susan Lawly label.
The iconic album art was illustrated by Trevor Brown, who also worked with the band on Quality Time, Halogen, and Twice Is Not Enough.
The 5th track, seemingly lost at the current time, is a 20 minute compilation of recordings from victims of domestic violence and child abuse. Like the title track of Bird Seed, Private was written by Peter Sotos and recorded by Steve Albini.
