The 42nd Annual Saturn Awards Nominations Announced

The Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films have revealed the nominations for the 42nd Annual Saturn Awards.

The Saturn Awards are dedicated to honouring the finest in genre entertainment in film, television and home entertainment, and this year, they've introduced a new category, 'Best New Media Television Series', to recognize programs which are produced and streamed online.

The winners will be announced in June.

Cool Art: 13 More Cult Classic Horror Films Get A Cover Art Makeover From Skuzzles

Skuzzles have once again partnered up with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) Studios and 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment on new artwork for 13 cult classic horror films.

The new illustrated limited edition artwork by Ghoulish Gary Pullin, Randy Ortiz, Joshua Budich, Paul Shipper, Francesco Francavilla, Slasher Design, Tracie Ching, Rhys Cooper, Matt Ryan Tobin, Dan Mumford, Alexander Iaccarino and Adam Rabalais are exclusive to Halloween and will feature on DVDs and Blu-rays at all major retailers, including Best Buy, Walmart and Fox Connect.

In addition to the 13 new titles being released, last year's series will also be re-released, for a total of 26 collectible BluRay/DVD face plates.

The 41st Annual Saturn Awards Nominations Announced


The Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films have revealed the nominations for the 41st Annual Saturn Awards.

'The Saturn Awards are dedicated to honouring the finest in genre entertainment in film, television and home entertainment, and this year, they've introduced two new categories, Best Superhero Adaptation Television Series and Best Local Live Stage Production award.

The winners will be announced on June 25.

Cool Art: 13 Cult Classic Horror Films Get A Cover Art Makeover From Skuzzles

Skuzzles has partnered with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) Studios and 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment in developing artwork for 13 cult classic horror films.

The new illustrated limited edition artwork by Ghoulish Gary Pullin, Jason Edmiston, Todd Slater, Randy Ortiz, Josh Budich, Justin Osbourn, Paul Shipper, Gregorz Domaradzki and Francesco Francavilla will feature on DVDs and Blu-rays and will be offered at all major retailers, including Best Buy, Walmart, Target, Best Buy Canada and Walmart Canada. The films can be found on Blu-ray for $7-9, and on DVD for only $5-7.

The 39th Annual Saturn Awards Nominations Announced

The Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films today revealed the nominations for the 39th Annual Saturn Awards.

'The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey' and 'Dexter' received the most nominations in the Film and Television categories respectively.

The Saturn Awards are dedicated to honouring the finest in genre entertainment in film, television and home entertainment, and will be presented in June, with the exact date and location to be announced shortly.
