Philadelphia 76ers general manager Sam Hinkie stepped down from his position on Wednesday. And the internet responded to the news by making the same joke – time and time again.
Hinkie is known for his multiyear overhaul of the 76ers, initiating a rebuilding process in 2013 that doesn’t appear close to being done.
According to USA TODAY Sports’ Jeff Zillgitt, Hinkie was asked to take a reduced role.
