The Kansas City Royals won the World Series last season, so they can do whatever they want when it comes to promotional giveaways.

But World Series Zubaz? I guess that’s about to be a thing. What year is it again?

Royals color commentator Rex Hudler modeled a pair of World Series edition Zubaz during Wednesday night’s broadcast. Apparently, Royals fans can purchase a ticket package as part of Friday’s “Zubazpalooza” and get themselves a pair of these Zubaz.

Zubaz are rather common at Kansas City Chiefs games. Don’t ask me why — it just is. There’s even a listing for Chiefs Zubaz on the NFL team shop.

So, with Kauffman Stadium and Arrowhead Stadium located literally right next to each other, there’s bound to be an overlap in the fanbase’s sense of style.

That’s solid marketing.
