Barry Bonds and Alex Rodriguez have a lot in common — the two are enigmatic, misunderstood, sometimes hated men … who also happen to be two of the best people ever at hitting a baseball.
They also seem to have a real and earnest friendship. Bonds, now a hitting coach for the Miami Marlins, posted the following to his Instagram on Saturday:

Say what you will about Bonds and Rodriguez, but having friends is cool, and I’d like to listen in to the two of them talk about hitting, because few have ever done it better.
