Steph Curry scores 28 points in an insane third quarter against Charlotte

The Charlotte Hornets hosted a celebration of Dell Curry at Time Warner Cable arena on Wednesday night, so it was only right that his son, Steph Curry acted a complete fool. Curry scored 24 straight to end an insane third quarter; 28 points points total.

28 points in a single quarter. 28 of them. As in, just under two points less than James Harden is averaging per game; 14 which came in the final two minutes. What do you do when you’re watching actual magic happen right before you very eyes? Well, you cheer don’t you. Even if you’re a fan of the opposing team.

14 points in two minutes. 40 points through three quarters at the time of publishing. And it’s difficult to tell if he’s even trying. Give in to the madness. Or don’t. And then Twitpic your stubborn face, refusing to acknowledge greatness, even as you’re watching it happen.

Also, read this thing about Andrew Bogut talking about how to guard Steph Curry. (Hint: the answer is pretty much “hope and prayer.”)
