Sympathetic professor allows Cubs fan to reschedule exam to attend playoff game

Even college professors understand that a Cubs playoff run is worth a few exceptions when it comes to things like, taking exam on time.

Ben Larson, a student at the University of Illinois tweeted one of the best exchanges with a professor that happened when he asked if he could move his midterm to accommodate a trip to the Cubs wild-card game against the Pirates. “The universe gives Cubs fans only so many post-season games,” the professor wrote before granting Larson’s request. “They must be savored.”
