Andre Ethier yells at manager Don Mattingly in Dodgers dugout in Game 5

Here’s a weird one: With the Dodgers leading, 2-1, in the bottom of the third inning of NLDS Game 5 in Los Angeles, outfielder Andre Ethier appeared to shout at manager Don Mattingly in the dugout.

After Justin Turner doubled to lead off the inning, Ethier lined out to left field. It did not seem cause for a dugout fight, but then:

It’s worth noting that Mattingly and Ethier have clashed in the past. They also got in a dugout shouting match in a game in June, 2014. At one point in 2013, Mattingly benched Ethier in favor of Scott Van Slyke because he wanted a lineup “that’s going to compete and fight all day.”
