Devon Still opens up about his daughter's cancer fight on the Today Show

Since Cincinnati Bengals tackle Devon Still’s daughter was diagnosed with cancer this summer, fans and the Bengals organization have rallied around her, buying jerseys, expressing their well-wishes and helping Still balance being there for his daughter and football.

In an interview with Josh Elliott that appeared on The Today Show on Monday morning, Still spoke about the terrible moments in the hospital with his young daughter and said that he was “beyond grateful” for the support he received.

“The love is definitely there, more love than I knew existed,” he said.

Still said that his daughter, who recently underwent successful surgery to remove cancer from her lymph nodes, has also been lifted by support not only from her family but the whole country that is rooting for her.

“It’s done wonders for me, it’s done wonders for my daughter,” he said. “Everytime she’s on the TV she calls me and tells me how she’s a movie star how everyone wants to know about her.”
