The AD at FSU will be providing his own security this baseball postseason. In the middle of an NCAA Regional game between Savannah State and #9 Florida State, Florida State Athletic Director Randy Spetman confronted an unruly SSU fan who was apparently arguing with fans of the home team. That’s when things got heated:

The gang at Warchant has a whole gallery of the incident, which concludes with Spetman escorting the man out, and then FSU fans thanking Spetman for handling the situation. AD Spetman spent 28 years in the Air Force, including stints in Desert Storm and Desert Shield, so something tells me he isn’t too concerned with an angry baseball fan.
Florida State ended up winning the game 10-0, with pitcher Scott Sitz getting the W.
