The Universal Code of Conduct Coordinating Committee (U4C) is a global group dedicated to providing an equitable and consistent implementation of the UCoC. Community members were invited to submit their applications for the U4C. For more information and the responsibilities of the U4C, please review the U4C Charter.

Hola. Durante muchos años, los miembros de la comunidad han solicitado una forma sencilla de reutilizar referencias con diferentes detalles. Ahora, llega una solución MediaWiki: la nueva función de sub-referencia funcionará para wikitexto y Editor Visual, y mejorará el sistema de referencia existente. Puedes seguir utilizando diferentes formas de referenciar, pero probablemente encontrarás sub-referencias en artículos escritos por otros usuarios. Más información en la página del proyecto.
Queremos tus comentarios para asegurarnos de que esta función funcione bien para ti:
- Pruebe el estado actual del desarrollo en la wiki beta y déjenos saber lo que piensa.

Deseo participar en Wikilibros
[editar]Saludos usuarios de Wikilibros, soy el usuario Leonpolanco, soy el mismo de Wikipedia en español, y deseo contribuir en la medida de mis posibilidades y mi tiempo libre aquí en Wikilibros. Pero deseo preguntar ¿cuál es la diferencia de Wikilibros con Wikisource? Ya que Wikisource es biblioteca, y las bibliotecas están llenas de libros. Leonpolanco (discusión) 22:39 19 ago 2024 (UTC)
- @Leonpolanco: Primeramente, le doy la bienvenida a este proyecto y le procedo a responder. Wikilibros es un sitio donde alberga "Libros" creados por la comunidad, ante un tema específico. Obviamente, el enfoque de Wikilibros es entregar a la comunidad recursos instructivos sobre un tema en particular, como por ejemplo, Física que muestra una variedad de temas relacionados con la Física o por ejemplo Wikichicos, un libro destinado netamente a niños, o también, Artes culinarias, un espacio de recetas de cocina. La gran diferencia con Wikisource, es que este último sólo alberga textos originales o traducciones de textos, que cumplen con la licencia GDFL o licencia similar y se suben allá y se reescribe en texto wiki. - @Leonpolanco: Se pueden añadir entradas por el idioma, con {{Babel}}, pero aún no tenemos categorías que relacionen a editores por países. De hecho, acáno hay muchos userboxes como los que están en Wikipedia :-(. Espero le haya ayudado. Saludos --Mazbel (Talk) 01:41 20 ago 2024 (UTC)

The next language community meeting is scheduled in a few weeks—on August 30th at 15:00 UTC. If you're interested in joining, you can sign up on this wiki page.
This participant-driven meeting will focus on sharing language-specific updates related to various projects, discussing technical issues related to language wikis, and working together to find possible solutions. For example, in the last meeting, topics included the Language Converter, the state of language research, updates on the Incubator conversations, and technical challenges around external links not working with special characters on Bengali sites.

Hello all,
The scrutineers have finished reviewing the vote and the Elections Committee have certified the results for the Universal Code of Conduct Coordinating Committee (U4C) special election.
I am pleased to announce the following individual as regional members of the U4C, who will fulfill a term until 15 June 2026:
- North America (USA and Canada)
- Ajraddatz
The following seats were not filled during this special election:
- Latin America and Caribbean
- Central and East Europe (CEE)
- Sub-Saharan Africa
- South Asia
- The four remaining Community-At-Large seats
Thank you again to everyone who participated in this process and much appreciation to the candidates for your leadership and dedication to the Wikimedia movement and community.
Over the next few weeks, the U4C will begin meeting and planning the 2024-25 year in supporting the implementation and review of the UCoC and Enforcement Guidelines. You can follow their work on Meta-Wiki.
