Having driven thru this section of roadway before, during and after construction, I can only say wow, what a amazing work of civil engineering. The extreme terrain. The extreme weather. The whole scope of this project was both difficult and dangerous. Seeing the pads built on the side of a very steep and long slope, literally on the side of a huge rocky mountain, just to place the crane, again wow. It took heavy equipment operating, not to mention the planning and safety factors, to a whole new level. This project, from the top boss down to all the all the workers, took tremendous courage and personal strength. Very impressed and very grateful, as this stretch of road was and had always been dangerous. Especially in the winter! Congratulations Michael, and again as a driver on this roadway, thank you! Thank you all.
