During World Water Week, we are pleased to introduce “Mizuiku” - an education program for nature and water which Suntory Group has been promoting since 2004 to nurture future-generation environmental change-makers and leaders. Did you know that #Ribena blackcurrant farms are biodiversity havens for 15 declining red list bird species? Suntory Beverage & Food GB&I is leveraging #AI technology to reveal a remarkable story of biodiversity across a number of its blackcurrant farms this harvest season. The project – in partnership with the Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group (FWAG) South West – reveals the presence of a range of threatened bird species across hedgerows, woodland and grasslands. Analysing the birdsong across these blackcurrant farms, the project is helping to demonstrate how farm stewardship can go hand in hand with wildlife protection as part of SBF GB&I’s broader commitment to improving biodiversity and supporting its growers as they respond to climate change. https://lnkd.in/etwgQNCW #biodiversity #growingforgood #farming

We are transforming the packaging of our most iconic brands to be more sustainable, enable circularity and reduce our environmental impact. We already use an average of 44% recycled plastic (rPET) across our portfolio and we are working to increase this year-on-year by working with our suppliers and innovative technology partners including CARBIOS.
