It is with this thought in mind that we recently had the privilege of connecting with over 30 distinguished figures from the international art scene including artists, art dealers, and other key influencers – thanks to our special relationship with LARRY'S LIST. In the heart of “La Serenissima” Venice, this private event included an exclusive cocktail reception and a private tour of the prestigious The Peggy Guggenheim Collection. In tribute to greatest Art Masters and their works, a gourmet dinner featuring expertly paired Camus cognacs completed this remarkable experience. Maison Camus wishes to continue blending the worlds of fine art and fine spirits.  

Camus Cognac, Liquid Icons and the Gérard Basset Foundation are delighted to announce the winners of the 2024 Alexa Camus Golden Vines® Scholarships in Spirits. These scholarships have been created to improve inclusion in the spirits industry and will support the winners as they pursue their WSET in Spirits Courses, as well as inviting them to partake in a 5-day immersion at Camus’ headquarters and distillery in Cognac, learning first-hand from the Camus team. 18 applications were received from 11 countries, all of them of a very impressive quality. The Judges conducted interviews with a shortlist of candidates and decided to award Scholarships to the following applicants: Jenipher Adero Achola, Kenya Yevhenii Homeniuk, France Scott Lam, Malaysia Bhoomi Salvekar, UK Aman Shinde, India Alexa Camus DipWSET, Vice President of the Board and namesake of the Scholarships, remarked: “The Alexa Camus Scholarships, in partnership with Golden Vines®, empower five passionate scholars to redefine the world of spirits. Selected for their passion and personal impact potential, these scholars are the catalysts of a new era in the industry. It's a testament to the enduring legacy of knowledge, and an invitation to a craft world of spirits, as rich and complex as the finest aged Cognac. The Scholars will have a part in shaping the future, one sip at a time.”

We are honored to announce that Maison Camus has received the prestigious Best Cognac of the Year award at Robb Report Monaco Côte d'Azur's Best of the Best 2024 event. Heldon July 10th at the Monaco Yacht Club, this annual ceremony celebrates the most exceptional luxury products and experiences across diverse fields such as yachting, architecture, style, design, and technological innovation.   From our signature Camus cocktail created by Cyril Cioli to the end of the evening with a perfect cigar-Camus pairing, we celebrated innovation and the relentless pursuit of excellence together! Camus recently participated in a prestigious two-day event in New York, hosted by the Institute for Private Investors in collaboration with Camden Wealth. During the event, Cyril Camus presented the foundational principles of family entrepreneurship that have driven our 160-year-old cognac house to success. Cyril highlighted two key areas of innovation and leadership at Camus: 1. Les Ateliers Camus: Establishing a new avenue for collecting and investing in luxury spirits. 2. Pioneering New Brands and Concepts: Innovating in spirits production with creations like Lambay whisky from the renowned Lambay Island and GuQi distillery, the first whisky with Chinese characteristics. We are proud of our heritage and our continued commitment to excellence.

Gala Dinner 2024 on May 18th, held at the magnificent Palais de la Bourse in Bordeaux. It was a true celebration of the art of living, fine dining and camaraderie, embodied by the long history of friendship between Camus and la Chaine. It was the occasion to celebrate the introduction of the fourth generation as Ryan, Cyril's eldest son, joins the great adventure of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs. This 18th May therefore marks a historic moment, embodying the family heritage of La Maison Camus.

The 2024 Alexa Camus Golden Vines® Scholarships in Spirits Open for Applications. We are delighted to share the news that Camus Very Special / VSOP / VSOP Borderies / XO Borderies have won the gold medals at the International Spirits Award (ISW) 2024.   Camus XO / VSOP Borderies / XO Borderies also won the gold medals at the Spirits Business Masters 2024.

LIFETIME USE OF CAMUS XO PRESTIGE DECANTER : The long history of cognac and reuse. A sometimes forgotten tradition in the long history of cognac, is reuse. Be it oak barrels, rough distillates, or decanters, every element in the cognac-making and serving process was meant to be used multiple times. The CAMUS XO Prestige Decanter honors this tradition, with its innovative lifetime-use approach. The beautiful, customizable decanter in which CAMUS XO is presented, is intended to be purchased only once by each household, and thereafter become a lifelong partner to hosting guests in the most elegant setting. When you have enjoyed more than two-thirds of the cognac within the decanter, you may purchase additional quantities of the same XO cognac from the www.camus.fr site. Fifty centiliters of XO are then sent to you in a simple glass bottle which, once you have poured the contents inside your own XO Prestige Decanter, can be returned back to CAMUS, using the same box in which it was shipped.* We will then clean and reuse the bottle for other future refills. As such, no glass bottle, no stopper, no gift box is discarded, but rather reused time and time again.

Diamond Decades of Gastronomy Gala dinner commemorating the 60th Anniversary of the Hong Kong Chaine Balliage and celebrating Camus's unwavering commitment to the French Art de Vivre—the epitome of fine food and drink appreciation. From the steadfast support of Michael Camus, to the 6th generation of Camus family, we cheers to our enduring partnership and aficionados of the finer things in life under the banner of Art de la Table. Held in the opulent Diamond Ballroom of the Ritz Carlton Hong Kong, the evening featured seven esteemed chefs crafting exquisite dishes, from king crab, black caviar and blue lobster, complemented by a spectacular Camus XO cognac and a diamond-shaped chocolate centrepiece. The celebration was further enriched by captivating acrobatic performances, contemporary dance, heartfelt welcome speeches, and chef appreciations. With hundreds in attendance, the atmosphere was brimming with joy, camaraderie, and the spirit of culinary excellence. Cheers to this exceptional gathering & historical friendship!
