The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong is set to undergo a refurbishment as part of LANDMARK’s 'Tomorrow's CENTRAL' project.

LANDMARK is a commercial complex owned by Hongkong Land.

The revamped hotel will provide access to ten luxury Maison destinations, more than 200 retail experiences, and over 100 catering offerings.

Hongkong Land CEO Michael Smith said: “The reimagined The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong will be an integral part of our upcoming transformative journey for the LANDMARK, exemplifying our vision of creating a world-class luxury lifestyle and business destination in the heart of Central.”

The refurbishment will also introduce two new dining and bar concepts, including an alfresco terrace.

The hotel's 111 guestrooms and suites will also undergo a refresh, and The Oriental Spa is set to offer new facilities.

Scheduled to commence in November 2024, the hotel will continue to operate its dining options on the seventh floor during the renovation period.

Hong Kong designer Joyce Wang, known for the hotel's current residential-style interiors, will oversee the new design phase.

Mandarin Oriental Hotel group operations vice president Greg Liddell said: “The return of Joyce’s signature touch to this hotel will again set a global benchmark, and we are looking forward to unveiling exceptional new experiences, as we embark on a new era for The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong while celebrating the 20th anniversary of the hotel in 2025.”

This announcement follows Mandarin Oriental's expansion to 40 operational hotels globally, with openings in Mayfair, London; and Muscat, Oman.
