Netflix Music has released a new soundtrack album for the streamer’s original series Mo. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Common, Karriem Riggins and Patrick Warren ( The Chi, The Old Man, Alice). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the artists’ first track (Mo’s Dream) below. The label has previously released an EP featuring the trio’s score from the first season back in 2022. Mo is created by Mohammed Amer & Ramy Youssef and stars Amer himself, Teresa Ruiz, Farah Bsieso, Tobe Nwigwe, Simon Rex, Omar Elba, Johanna Braddy and Kamel El Basha. Season 2 of the comedy drama follows the title character who is desperate to return to his family as he juggles asylum troubles and side hustles, while his relationship with Maria is threatened by an unruly rival. Season 2 of the A24 production will premiere next Thursday, January 30 exclusively on Netflix.
