22D Music has released a soundtrack album for the limited series Families Like Ours (Familier som vores). The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Valentin Hadjadj (Close, Girl, A Bigger World, April and the Extraordinary World, Under the Stars of Paris, Rialto). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s title track below. Families Like Ours is directed by Thomas Vinterberg and stars Amaryllis August, Albert Rudbeck Lindhardt, Nikolaj Lie Kaas, Helene Reingaard Neumann, Paprika Steen, Magnus Millang, Thomas Bo Larsen, Esben Smed, David Dencik and Asta Kamma August. The 7-part drama tells the story of a family who must leave their home behind when the Danish government evacuates the country due to rising water levels. The series, which premiered at last year’s Venice Film Festival, made its television debut in several European markets last fall. No domestic release has been announced yet.
