The Sidney Poitier New American Film School offers bachelor's degrees in film, with a concentration in either Film and Media Production (for directors, technicians, and production-based careers) or Filmmaking Practices (for screenwriters and industry professionals). With specialized tracks of courses in writing, directing, producing, cinematography, post-production, sound, and animation/VFX, students use industry-standard software and technology to develop professional skills and their own unique creative voice. The school also offers a graduate degree in narrative and emerging media, a joint program with the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
