About us

PUROSI is a modern talent development solution designed for companies aiming to establish themselves as industry leaders. PUROSI coaching program brings together the best practices from performance and business coaching. It supports organisational success and productivity by prioritising employee happiness, potential and well-being. PUROSI's online platform enables the entire organisation to benefit from coaching and embark on a journey towards enhanced self-awareness, improved resilience and more effective self-leadership. Collectively, these skills are vital for productivity, success and growth. We support Japanese companies facing similar challenges as what Finnish businesses have been battling with. As the population ages, competition for skilled professionals intensifies, necessitating the recruitment of workforce from abroad. Recruitment and retention strategies for companies must evolve, as well as methods for creating an efficient and healthy work culture. At the heart of it all is the individual, who thrives, feels included, recognises their own potential, and knows how to harness it for their own, the company's, and the entire community's benefit. Finland was chosen the Happiest Country in 2024 for the 7th time in a row. While we are humbled yet not perfect, there's something in the Finnish habits, mentality and way of living that makes happiness a state of mind. Only 6% of Japanese workforce is engaged in their work while the global average being 23%. In 2023, Japanese companies incurred over ¥86 trillion ($585 billion) in losses due to opportunity costs (lost earners) resulting from the low level of employee engagement. We offer Japanese organisations a new way of investing in employee engagement, talent attraction and development!

  • Yesterday, we hosted our TALENT BREAKFAST event. (Yes, morning events are rare in Japan, but we decided to challenge the norm 😉) It was fantastic to see so many talented professionals come together! We explored both the challenges and opportunities Japanese organizations face in talent attraction, retention, and development. With only 6% of the workforce feeling engaged, there’s clear work to be done. We discussed the shift from simply working hard to working smarter and the importance of knowing how to leverage employee engagement surveys. Many organizations still focus on sending people to courses to learn more skills, but we found there may be a better path: promoting self-discovery and self-leadership through coaching. This approach not only results into increased and improved productivity but also drives individual and team success. And, why does sharing a purpose matter? It deepens commitment, engagement, and ultimately makes us happier at work—and in life. True happiness comes from within. Perhaps that’s why Finns are considered the happiest people in the world… as their facial expressions don’t always show it! 😐 = 😃 Thank you everyone who joined! ありがとうございます Thank you Jean-Paul Okada and SivanS Lab for hosting us. And if you missed this one but find the topic interesting, please feel free to reach out to team PUROSI. Antti Kunnas Satu Ahlman Nora Tåg Kristo Enqvist

  • Japanese work culture, known for its dedication and discipline, has much to admire. However, by incorporating new elements such as focus on efficiency over hours, a better work/life balance, and a commitment to inclusivity—Japanese companies could further enhance employee well-being, boost productivity, and foster a more sustainable and innovative work environment. Finland's success in developing a balanced, efficient, and resilient work cultures offers valuable insights for Japanese work communities. By learning from these practices, Japanese workplaces have the opportunity to evolve in ways that support both organizational success and employee happiness, addressing critical challenges like talent retention, attraction, and the implications of an aging population. • Japan's population is aging, which will have a significant impact on the country's work culture. Companies are increasingly recruiting talent from abroad and must meet younger generations' evolving needs. In Japan, a growing number of new university graduates that are employed in April are resigning after less than a month on the job. 🔔 🔔 🔔 In order to remain competitive, it is essential for companies to develop inclusive work cultures, attract and retain talent, and enhance productivity through engagement.  Engagement and productivity are linked to company profitability.  And so is happiness and well-being. 😊 --- 💡 PUROSI 's 3-module coaching program brings together the best practices from performance and business coaching. It supports organisational success and productivity by prioritising employee happiness, potential and well-being. Our online platform enables the entire organisation to benefit from coaching and embark on a journey towards enhanced self-awareness, improved resilience and more effective self-leadership. Collectively, these skills are vital for productivity, success and growth. 💡 Wish to receive more information about the program?
